PRIME VIDEO ORIGINALS
The Prime Video August 2025 programming includes the following Originals.
Built in Birmingham: Brady & the Blues (Streaming August 1)
The five-part docuseries tells the authentic tale of a club accustomed to sporting heartbreak, who are rebuilt to win, with American football legend Tom Brady laying out their new mission statement: “We’re trying to make this a world-class team.”
“Built in Birmingham: Brady & the Blues” follows that journey, as a new ownership group suffers relegation and multiple managerial changes en route to a record-breaking season, which delivered automatic promotion to the EFL Sky Bet Championship.

The Pickup (Streaming August 6)
In the action-comedy “The Pickup,” a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Keke Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo.
As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse.

Taurasi (Streaming August 7)
Pioneer. Iconoclast. G.O.A.T. These words—and more—describe the remarkable arc of basketball legend Diana Taurasi, whose personal and professional journey to the top of her sport is truly singular. Highlighted by three NCAA Championships at the University of Connecticut, three Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) titles with the Phoenix Mercury, six Olympic gold medals, and six Euroleague crowns, Taurasi established a new standard for excellence, crafting a resume—and creating an on-court style—that may never be equaled.
Taurasi’s journey to the top has been as complex as it is remarkable. Fiercely competitive and unapologetic, she has navigated scrutiny both on and off the court, including high-stakes challenges during stints playing abroad in Russia and Turkey. Through it all, her unwavering loyalty to teammates and devotion to family have defined her just as much as her brilliant and fearless style of play.
Now, through incisive, remarkably candid interviews with Taurasi, her relatives, teammates, coaches, agent, journalists and others who’ve witnessed her path first-hand, including Sue Bird and Geno Auriemma, this three-part documentary series is a sweeping portrait that will reveal a funny, defiant, vulnerable, imperfect, and deeply relatable athlete, whose authenticity and commitment to greatness have revolutionized women’s basketball.

Butterfly (Streaming August 13)
“Butterfly” is a character-driven spy thriller that explores complex family dynamics within the treacherous world of global espionage. It’s centered on David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), an enigmatic, highly unpredictable former US intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose life is blown to pieces when the consequences of an impossible decision from his past come back to haunt him.
Jung finds himself pursued by Rebecca (Reina Hardesty), a deadly, sociopathic young agent assigned to kill him, and Caddis, the sinister spy organization she works for.

Sausage Party: Foodtopia Season 2 (Streaming August 13)
In Season Two, exiled from home, Frank, Barry, and Sammy soon find themselves in New Foodland, a shining utopia for food and humans alike. But beneath the city’s glossy fridges and cheery smiles lies a dark secret that threatens the entirety of sentient food society.
Returning cast members include Seth Rogen, Will Forte, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Sam Richardson, Ruth Negga, Yassir Lester and David Krumholtz —with some tasty new additions: Academy Award-winner Marion Cotillard, Jillian Bell, Martin Starr, Melissa Villaseñor, Patti Harrison, Jay Pharoah, Miles Fisher, Haley Joel Osment, and Andre Braugher.

Abandoned: The Woman in the Decaying House (Streaming August 15)
After almost 30 years of silence, a victim shares new and disturbing details of the horror she experienced in the house of the woman who became known throughout Brazil as the woman with white cream on her face.
“Abandoned: The Woman in the Decaying House” delves into the case that brought Brazil to a standstill in July 2022 – a peculiar lady who lives in a decaying mansion in a privileged neighborhood of São Paulo was accused, along with her ex-husband, of assaulting and keeping a domestic worker illegally in the United States for almost 20 years.
Over the course of three episodes, the documentary series continues the investigation conducted by journalist Chico Felitti in one of the country’s most listened-to podcasts and explores the fascination with the then-accused, Margarida Bonetti. Unpublished details are unearthed with the FBI and experts connected to the case. Memories previously stifled by trauma come to light.

Betty la Fea: La Historia Continúa Season 2 (Streaming August 15)
After breaking a global record with the largest global viewership for a Latin American title in Prime Video history and becoming the most-watched series or movie of all time on Prime Video in Colombia, Betty la Fea is back to finally solve the mystery. Prime Video has laid its cards on the table— quite literally.
Following a mysterious tarot session between Ana María Orozco (Betty) and Luces Velásquez (Bertha), the stars have officially aligned to reveal the official trailer, key art, and premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of “Betty la Fea: La Historia Continúa.” With the stellar return of Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello alongside much of the original cast, the second season will unfold across 10 episodes, released two episodes per week.
This new season picks up where the previous one left off, with Betty facing decisions that shake her present and redefine her family’s story. As she tries to rebuild her relationship with her daughter, Mila, and deal with the emotional distance growing between her and Armando, new secrets come to light that will challenge the stability of everything she thought was under control.

The Siege at Thorn High (Streaming August 15)
Eighteen years after witnessing an assault on his sister during a riot, Edwin is determined to fulfill her dying wish—to find her child born from the horrific incident. His search leads him to become a teacher at Thorn High School, a school for troubled teens.
There, Edwin faces the unruliest students while searching for his nephew. When he finally discovers the teen, another riot erupts, trapping them in the school and forcing them to fight for their survival against a group of violent students now out for blood.

The Map That Leads to You (Streaming August 20)
“The Map That Leads to You” follows Heather (Madelyn Cline), a young woman setting off on an adventure across Europe with her best friends before settling into her perfectly planned life. When she crosses paths with Jack (KJ Apa), a magnetic and mysterious stranger, their instant spark ignites an emotional journey neither of them expected.
As their connection deepens, secrets, life choices, and hidden truths will test their bond—and change her life in ways she never imagined. From director Lasse Hallström (“Dear John,” “Safe Haven”) comes this adaptation of JP Monninger’s novel about love, destiny, and the courage to choose your own path.

007: Road to a Million Season 2 (Streaming August 22)
The reality competition “007: Road to a Million” returns with a bold and ambitious second series, reinventing the format of its first season. Eight pairs of ordinary people embark on a thrilling 007-inspired global adventure.
From Bangkok towers to Bahamas shark dives, they’ll face epic challenges testing skills and relationships. The slowest pairs face elimination in the tense Killer Question. Only one duo will reach London for a shot at £1 million.
Contestants will face live scorpions in Thailand, scale Bangkok’s Sinn Sathorn Tower, brave dizzying Alpine cable cars, fire guns in a historic Hacienda in Mexico, and dive through shark-infested waters in The Bahamas.
Award-winning actor Brian Cox returns as The Controller, overseeing a new cast of everyday heroes from across British society.

Upload Season 4 (Streaming August 25)
“Upload” is a sci-fi comedy series from Emmy-winning writer Greg Daniels (“The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” “King of the Hill”), set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are the norm. And, forget about dying – instead, you’ll be “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife, and enjoy all the comforts of a world-class resort. Provided you can afford it.
In the four-part series finale event, sentient AI rapidly turns evil, threatening to wipe out Lakeview (and the world!). On top of greedy executives, lingering mysteries, plus heartbreak in VR and IRL, our characters are tested like never before. The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (Streaming August 27)
Co-created by The New York Times bestselling author of The Terminal List, Jack Carr, and Season One creator-showrunner David DiGilio, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel series with an origin story that follows “Ben Edwards” throughout his journey from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations.
The series is an espionage thriller that explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. It also features Chris Pratt reprising his role as “James Reece.”
As with Season One of the runaway hit “The Terminal List,” authenticity is a core pillar of “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf” – with military veterans contributing as writers, actors, on-set technical advisors, and executive producers, the series is committed to portraying the mindset, brotherhood, and moral complexity of Special Operations with respect and realism.

Enemigos (Streaming August 29)
What would you do for your enemy? This is the story of Chimo and El Rubio, two teenagers from the same neighbourhood, who have grown up as irreconcilable enemies, both victims and executioners, bullied and harassed.
One day, Chimo has the chance to take revenge and decides to carry out his plan, not realising the consequences it will have on both their lives.
