The Rescue Trailer and Poster Featuring Brandon Sklenar
Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group have released the official trailer and poster for The Rescue, opening in theaters on January 29, 2027.
In The Rescue, a former rodeo cowboy (Brandon Sklenar) takes matters into his own hands when his daughter is kidnapped for ransom. With her devoted dog by his side, he sets out to bring her home and will stop at nothing to find her.
The cast also includes Josh Lucas, Hassie Harrison, Lorelei Olivia Mote, Nick Searcy, Austin Amelio, Spencer Treat Clark, Tim Blake Nelson, and Josh Duhamel.
Directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Motor City, Greedy People, Old Henry), the film was written by John Fusco (Marco Polo, The Highwaymen, The Shack, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, The Forbidden Kingdom, Hidalgo, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Thunderheart, Young Guns II, Young Guns).
Principal photography for The Rescue took place in Georgia from February 9, 2026, to March 26, 2026. The film has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association.
