The 4K release also includes a hilarious gag reel, deleted scenes, original on-set footage, both the theatrical and unrated versions of the movie, and, for a limited time, fans can own it in premium SteelBook packaging.
Fans around the country can also join in on the celebration for a limited time beginning on August 22 through August 28 when The 40-Year-Old Virgin returns to the big screen. The film’s return to 800 theater locations gives the chance to relive the heartfelt comedy that became an instant classic.
A brand-new trailer was released to commemorate the 20th Anniversary, offering fans a nostalgic look back at the film’s unforgettable moments. Trainwreck, another iconic Judd Apatow film, will be released concurrently in theaters for its 10th Anniversary starting August 22.
Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell, The Office, Despicable Me) has gone 40 years without “doing it.” Now his pals are making it their mission to help him score…fast! Can he survive their hilariously bad advice? Will he land in the arms of the way-too-experienced or the way-too-drunk?

Or can he find true love where he least expects – from a gorgeous grandmother (Catherine Keener, Being John Malkovich & Get Out)?
Co-starring Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, I Love You, Man), Seth Rogen (The Studio, This Is the End), Jane Lynch (Only Murders in the Building, Glee), Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect), and Leslie Mann (Knocked Up, This Is 40), The 40-Year-Old Virgin is director Judd Apatow’s feature film debut.
