Nobody Wants This Season 2 Trailer, Key Art, and Photos Debut
Today, Netflix debuted the official trailer, key art, and photos for Nobody Wants This Season 2. The highly anticipated second season is set to premiere on October 23, 2025.
First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons), and sister-in-law Esther (Jackie Tohn), and even themselves.
Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives – and loved ones — together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored.
The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them. Nobody Wants This was created by Erin Foster.
Nobody Wants This Season 2 stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. The new guest stars include Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, Arian Moayed, Kate Berlant, and Seth Rogen.
The additional cast of the second season includes Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Sherry Cola, D’Arcy Carden, and Shiloh Berman.
“It’s such an interesting part of every relationship when you now have to see if you can make it work with each other’s friends, day-to-day routines, and how you handle the milestones that come in those first few months together from holidays, birthdays, and what you each think the future should look like,” Erin Foster told the Netflix blog Tudum.
For fans who loved the cast dynamic in Season 1, Foster teases that “if we got lucky with our main cast, we got just as lucky with our guest stars.”
Meester guest-stars as Abby, Joanne’s nemesis from middle school, who is now an Instagram mommy influencer. As she is married to Brody offscreen, Foster told Tudum that “getting to create such a fun role for Leighton to play and getting to write her and Adam in a scene together was such a thrill for the writers’ room.”
Fowler plays Lenny, Noah’s Matzah Ballers teammate who gets set up with Morgan (Lupe) and “brings such a cool and confident energy to the group,” said Foster.
Karpovsky plays recurring guest star Big Noah, an overly confident rabbi at Noah’s temple who Foster called a “dream.” As another recurring guest star, Moayed plays Dr. Andy, a charming, highly regarded (particularly by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Morgan. “Their pairing is so unexpected and fun to watch,” said Foster.
Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan are the showrunners. The executive producers of the 20th Television series are Erin Foster, Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Jenni Konner, and Nora Silver. Oly Obst is executive producer for 3arts.
