In Your Dreams Trailer and Poster Debut on World Dream Day
To celebrate World Dream Day (September 25), Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for In Your Dreams, the upcoming animated comedy adventure. The film is set to launch on the streaming service on November 14, 2025.
In Your Dreams is about Stevie and her brother Elliot, who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true…the perfect family.

The voice cast includes Simu Liu as Dad, Craig Robinson as Baloney Tony, Cristin Milioti as Mom, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie, Elias Janssen as Elliot, Gia Carides as Nightmara, Omid Djalili as The Sandman, SungWon Cho as Chad, and Zachary Noah Piser as Joon Bae.
Written and directed by Alex Woo, In Your Dreams is a magical saga with plenty of heart. Erik Benson is the co-director and writer, and Tim Hahn and Gregg Taylor serve as producers.

“One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to wake my brother up in the middle of the night and annoy him with accounts of my weird and crazy dreams,” Alex Woo, who crafted the story with Stanley Moore, told the Netflix blog Tudum previously. “When I had the opportunity to make my first feature film, I knew exactly what it was going to be about.
“When I started this film, I set out to tell a heartfelt story that explored the magical and often hilariously absurd world of dreams. What I didn’t expect was how memorable and emotional the performances were going to be.”

Woo added, “I guess that’s what happens when you’re lucky enough to have Simu Liu and Craig Robinson in your cast. Talk about a dream come true! But what I’m most excited for audiences to experience is Stevie and Elliot’s sibling story — the bickering, the bonding, and everything in between. It’s ultimately why we share our weird and crazy dreams.”
“Cristin is an EGOT-level talent,” Woo said about Cristin Milioti (Black Mirror). “She can sing. She can act. I haven’t seen her dance, but I’m sure she could give Ginger Rogers a run for her money. You believe every performance Cristin gives, and that’s every director’s dream come true.”

The score is by composer John Debney, whose previous work includes Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, The Princess Diaries, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Santa Clarita Diet, and more.
The film also features “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by Eurythmics and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” performed by Weezer. Kuku Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks collaborated on the film’s animation.
