Karōshi Trailer and Teaser Poster Revealed by Lionsgate

Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer and teaser poster for Karōshi, the upcoming dystopian action thriller written and directed by Takashi Doscher. New photos from the movie can also be viewed by scrolling down.

Not yet rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA), the film is scheduled to open in theaters on February 5, 2027.

Karōshi is set in a near-future Manhattan, where corporate loyalty and cultural tradition have reshaped everyday life. When a mysterious outsider infiltrates a powerful company after a worker’s death, he exposes the violent system hidden beneath its polished surface.

The cast of the 88-minute film includes Teo Yoo (Past Lives), Isabel May (Scream 7), Takehiro Hira (Shōgun), Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent), and Show Kasamatsu (Tokyo Vice), with Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked).

The producers include 87Eleven Entertainment‘s Chad Stahelski of the John Wick franchise, as well as Jason Spitz, Alex Young, and Nathan Kahane.

Lionsgate is presenting an 87Eleven Entertainment and True North production.
