HBO has shared a first look at its upcoming Original comedy series Rooster, starring Steve Carell and debuting in March 2026. The series will premiere on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

The 10-episode season, from Warner Bros. Television, hails from co-showrunners and executive producers Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses. Steve Carell also serves as executive producer.

The series stars Steve Carell, Charly Clive, Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai.

Rooster, from co-showrunners Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Bad Monkey, Shrinking, Scrubs) and Matt Tarses, is executive produced by Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer for Doozer, Matt Tarses, Jonathan Krisel, Barbie Adler, Annie Mebane, David Stassen, Anthony King, and Steve Carell.

The studio is Warner Bros. Television, where both Doozer and Tarses are under overall deals.
