HBO Max January 2026 Movie and TV Titles Announced
Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the movies, TV shows, and live sports that will be available on HBO Max in January. The HBO Max January 2026 lineup includes new seasons of Industry and The Pitt, as well as the debut of HBO Original A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The schedule also includes HBO Original documentaries 33 Photos From the Ghetto and Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!. The films joining the streaming service include A24’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You and The Smashing Machine.

FEATURED PROGRAMMING
SERIES
The Pitt Season 2 (Max Original Drama Series)
The 15-episode season premieres on January 8 at 9:00 pm ET, with new episodes debuting weekly.
“The Pitt” is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America, seen through the lens of frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
The cast includes Noah Wyle (Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch), Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), and Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi).
“The Pitt” is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where JWP is under an overall deal. R. Scott Gemmill created “The Pitt” and executive produces the series alongside Emmy winner John Wells, Noah Wyle, JWP’s Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich.

Industry Season 4 (HBO Original Drama Series)
The eight-episode season premieres on January 11 at 9:00 pm ET, with new episodes debuting weekly.
At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene.
As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (HBO Original Drama Series)
The six-episode season premieres on January 18 at 10:00 pm ET, with new episodes debuting weekly.
A century before the events of “Game of Thrones,” two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
The cast includes Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall, Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Danny Webb as Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen, and Shaun Thomas as Raymun Fossoway.

The prequel series is written and executive produced by George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker. The directors include Owen Harris and Sarah Adina Smith. The series was co-created by George R. R. Real Time with Bill Maher Season 24 (HBO Original Series)
The season premieres on January 23 at 10:00 pm ET, with new episodes debuting weekly.
Allowing Maher to offer his unique perspective on contemporary issues, the show continues with its opening monologue, one-on-one interviews with notable guests, roundtable discussions with panelists, and its signature “New Rules.”
The executive producers of “Real Time with Bill Maher” are Bill Maher, Sheila Griffiths, Marc Gurvitz, Dean Johnsen, and Billy Martin. Chris Kelly is the co-executive producer, Matt Wood is the producer, and Paul Casey is the director.

Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! (HBO Original Two-Part Documentary)
Part one debuts Thursday, January 22, at 8:00 pm ET on HBO, followed by part two at the same time on Friday, January 23. Both parts will be available to stream beginning Thursday, January 22, on HBO Max.
“Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!” explores the life, career, friendships, and loves of legendary writer, director, producer, and performer, Mel Brooks.

33 Photos From the Ghetto (HBO Original Documentary)
Debuts January 27 at 9:00 pm
“33 Photos From the Ghetto” tells the story of the only known photographs from inside the Warsaw Ghetto during the April 1943 uprising and its brutal repression that were not taken by German forces.
The images, taken secretly by 23-year-old Polish firefighter Zbigniew Leszek Grzywaczewski, who witnessed the devastating response to the uprising as a member of the Warsaw Fire Service, present a rare civilian account of one of World War II’s darkest moments.

If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (A24 Film)
Debuts January 30
Logline: With her life crashing down around her, Linda (Rose Byrne) attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.
The cast includes Rose Byrne, Conan O’Brien, and Danielle Macdonald, with Christian Slater and A$AP Rocky. The film was written and directed by Mary Bronstein and produced by Sara Murphy, Ryan Zacarias, Ronald Bronstein, Josh Safdie, Eli Bush, Conor Hannon, and Richie Doyle.
