First Look at Family Guy Special Happy Hell-o-ween

Hulu has shared a first look at the Family Guy special, “Happy Hell-o-ween,” which premieres on October 5, 2026. In “Happy Hell-o-ween,” Brian and Stewie find themselves in Hell — not an annoying day, the actual underworld — paying for 24 seasons’ worth of bad behavior.

When they manage to annoy even the Devil himself, they end up in charge. Having danced with any number of devils on Succession, Kieran Culkin now gets to play the Devil himself in “Happy Hell-o-ween.”

Family Guy is an animated series that features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife, Lois, reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids.

Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless about the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby who is bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. Brian, the talking dog, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own issues.

Family Guy continues to entertain its die-hard fan base with razor-sharp humor, spot-on parodies, spectacular animation, and orchestra-backed original music. Since its debut in 1999, the series has reached cult status among fans, and its breakout star, a talking baby, has become one of the greatest TV characters of all time.

Family Guy has racked up numerous awards, including an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, only the second animated series in television history to be honored with such a distinction. Series creator and lead voice actor Seth MacFarlane (voices of Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, and Glenn Quagmire) was nominated for the 2021 Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance and won the 2016, 2017, and 2019 Emmy Award for that category.

MacFarlane was nominated in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2018. Alex Borstein (Lois Griffin) won the 2018 Emmy Award in that same category and was nominated in 2013, 2019, 2023 and 2024.
