A24 Releases the Final Trailer for Primetime
With tickets now on sale, A24 has released the final trailer for Primetime, which opens in theaters on September 25, 2026. The film has been rated R for disturbing sexual material, graphic nudity, some violent content, and language.
Directed by Lance Oppenheim, the film stars Robert Pattinson as famed To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen. The movie also stars Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher, and Bokeem Woodbine.
Set in 2006, Primetime follows the origins of the television news magazine program To Catch a Predator, which featured host Chris Hansen confronting child predators who would arrive at a sting house and typically get arrested as a result.
Inspired by true events, the film is based on an article by Luke Dittrich and was written by Ajon Singh.
The producers include Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger, William Iannaccone, Robert Pattinson, Brighton McCloskey, Lars Knudsen, and Ari Aster.
David Bolen is the director of photography; the production design is by Alex Digerlando; the editing is by Daniel Garber, ACE; the costume design is by Alex Bovaird; and the music is by Ari Balouzian.
