Ebenezer Character Posters Featuring Depp and More
Paramount Pictures has released six new Ebenezer character posters featuring Johnny Depp, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Robert Strange, Tramell Tillman, and Ian McKellen. Tickets for the November 13 release are now on sale.
Directed by Ti West, the upcoming fantasy film is based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novel, A Christmas Carol. The movie has been rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for frightening material.
This November, prepare to be ghosted. Johnny Depp is the deliciously unpleasant Ebenezer Scrooge in a thrilling reimagining of the most iconic ghost story of all time.
On one unforgettable Christmas Eve, Ebenezer collides with his past, present, and future on a supernatural journey that will decide his ultimate fate. If you think you know his story, think again.
With a screenplay by Nathaniel Halpern, Ebenezer also stars Rupert Grint, Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, and Charlie Murphy.
Ti West is best known for directing the horror films The Roost (2005), Trigger Man (2007), The House of the Devil (2009), The Innkeepers (2011), and In a Valley of Violence (2016), as well as the X trilogy.
Produced by Emma Watts, p.g.a., the Ebenezer executive producers include Ti West, Adam Bohling, David Reid, Stephen Deuters, Jason Forman, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Molly Smith, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill.
Paramount Pictures is presenting, in association with Domain Entertainment and Black Label Media, a Wattsco / IN.2 Films production. The film will be available in Dolby Cinema, 4DX, D-Box, and premium large formats.
