Primetime Trailer and Poster Featuring Robert Pattinson

A24 has released the official trailer and poster for Primetime ahead of the film’s world premiere in competition at the Venice International Film Festival.

Directed by Lance Oppenheim, the film stars Robert Pattinson as famed To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen. The September 25 release also stars Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher, and Bokeem Woodbine.

Set in 2006, Primetime follows the origins of the television news magazine program To Catch a Predator, which featured host Chris Hansen confronting child predators who would arrive at a sting house and typically get arrested as a result.

Inspired by true events, the film is based on an article by Luke Dittrich and was written by Ajon Singh.

The producers include Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger, William Iannaccone, Robert Pattinson, Brighton McCloskey, Lars Knudsen, and Ari Aster.

David Bolen is the director of photography; the production design is by Alex Digerlando; the editing is by Daniel Garber, ACE; the costume design is by Alex Bovaird; and the music is by Ari Balouzian.
