Zootopia 2 to Begin Streaming on Disney+ March 11
Disney announced today that the box office hit and award-winning Zootopia 2 will hop onto Disney+ on March 11, 2026. In the film, rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde team up for a hiss-terical undercover escapade, taking audiences deep into hidden corners of the animal metropolis.
In the real world, Zootopia 2 received the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Feature and has shattered box office records, becoming the highest-grossing animated Motion Picture Association (MPA) release of all time with $1.85 billion worldwide, ranking as the eighth-highest-grossing film ever and the #1 domestic release of 2025.
The film also marks the fifth title from Walt Disney Animation Studios to surpass $1 billion globally – a landmark achievement in the studio’s storied history. That success is matched by overwhelming audience and critical acclaim, including a 96% Verified Hot Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes and an A CinemaScore.
Now an Academy Award nominee, Zootopia 2 has been celebrated for its humor, heart, and world-class animation. Beyond its stunning visuals, the film delivers a dynamic musical experience, featuring the new single “Zoo” performed by Shakira, and a sweeping original score by Michael Giacchino.
