HBO has released the official trailer and key art for the original drama series True Detective: Night Country. The trailer and key art were first revealed during Warner Bros. Discovery’s CCXP panel in São Paulo, Brazil, this weekend.
Starring Academy Award winner and Emmy-nominated Jodie Foster and Kali Reis, the six-episode season debuts Sunday, January 14, 2024 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace.

To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
True Detective: Night Country stars Jodie Foster, Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, and Joel D. Montgrand with Christopher Eccleston, and John Hawkes.
The guest stars include Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, June Thiele, Diane Benson, and Joel D. Montgrand. Issa López serves as showrunner and writer and directs all episodes.
True Detective: Night Country is executive produced by Issa López, Jodie Foster, Mari Jo Winkler, Barry Jenkins, Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak, Chris Mundy, Alan Page Arriaga, Steve Golin, Richard Brown, Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Nic Pizzolatto.
The producers are Princess Daazhraii Johnson, Cathy Tagnak Rexford, and Sam Breckman.
