The Witcher Season Four Trailer Has Arrived

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for The Witcher Season Four, starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. Consisting of eight 50-minute episodes, the fourth season will premiere on October 30, 2025.

After the Continent-altering events of Season Three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies.

The Witcher Seasons Four and Five will adapt the remaining Andrzej Sapkowski books, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake, promising an epic and satisfying conclusion to Netflix’s hit fantasy drama.

In addition to Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill in the lead role, the cast also includes Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg), Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla of Cintra), Joey Batey (Jaskier), Laurence Fishburne (Regis), Eamon Farren (Cahir), Anna Shaffer (Triss Merigold), and Mimî M Khayisa (Fringilla).

The cast list continues with Cassie Clare (Philippa), Mahesh Jadu (Vilgefortz), Meng’er Zhang (Milva), Graham McTavish (Dijkstra), Royce Pierreson (Istredd), Mecia Simson (Francesca), Sharlto Copley (Leo Bonhart), Danny Woodburn (Zoltan), Jeremy Crawford (Yarpen), Bart Edwards (Emhyr), and Hugh Skinner (Radovid).

The cast is rounded out by James Purefoy (Skellen), Christelle Elwin (Mistle), Fabian McCallum (Kayleigh), Juliette Alexandra (Reef), Ben Radcliffe (Giselher), Connor Crawford (Asse), Aggy K. Adams (Iskra), Linden Porco (Percival Schuttenbach), Therica Wilson-Read (Sabrina), Rochelle Rose (Margarita), and Safiyya Ingar (Keira).

Speaking with the Netflix blog Tudum, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich previously teased what’s ahead as the series heads toward its fourth and then fifth and final seasons. “One of the things we always say is that it wouldn’t be The Witcher if everything ended happily. This is the beginning of a two-season journey for our family to finally reunite and be together — hopefully forever.”

Hissrich added, “Show up, be willing to be surprised, be willing to accept that things look different, and know that the core of what you love is still there. We also have this amazing opportunity, halfway through a series, to relaunch it — to say, ‘Things are different, we’re coming out of the gate with a bang, and it’s bigger and better than ever.'”
