One mystery concerning The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh has been solved: Today, Prime Video announced that the Original comedy series will premiere all eight half-hour episodes on October 17, 2024.
The series will be available on Prime Video in the U.S., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela, and India, and on Amazon Freevee in the U.S., UK, and Germany.
Inspired by the personal experiences of Emmy-nominated creator Vijal Patel (black-ish, The Middle), The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh follows the Pradeep family and the events of their first few months after moving to America from India.
As told through hilarious (and often conflicting) flashbacks from an interrogation room, the Pradeeps quickly find themselves embroiled—romantically, personally, and professionally—with a polar opposite neighborhood family, leading to a predicament with many surprising twists.
Naveen Andrews, Sindhu Vee, Megan Hilty, and Ethan Suplee star alongside Sahana Srinivasan, Arjun Sriram, Ashwin Sakthivel, and Nicholas Hamilton.
Pete Holmes (Dark Suit) and Romy Rosemont (Light Suit) appear as special guest stars.
Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series. Patel serves as creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer, alongside Emmy winner Sara Gilbert, Mandy Summers, Emmy winner Tom Werner, and Jordana Mollick as executive producers.
Michael Showalter of Semi-Formal Productions is also an executive producer and directed the pilot.
