The Hand That Rocks the Cradle Trailer and Poster Debut
20th Century Studios has revealed the official trailer and poster for The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, a hauntingly modern twist on the classic film.
The psychological thriller, directed by Michelle Garza Cervera and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maika Monroe, will premiere exclusively on Hulu on October 22.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Caitlin Morales, an upscale suburban mom who brings a new nanny, Polly Murphy (Maika Monroe), into her home, only to discover she is not the person she claims to be.
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle also stars Raúl Castillo, Martin Starr, Mileiah Vega, Riki Lindhome, and Shannon Cochran, and is written by Micah Bloomberg based on a screenplay by Amanda Silver.

The producers are Michael Schaefer, Mike LaRocca, and Ted Field, and the executive producers are Michael Napoliello, Maria Frisk, and Seth William Meier.
The film is based on the 1992 thriller of the same name, directed by Curtis Hanson and written by Amanda Silver. The original stars Annabella Sciorra, Rebecca De Mornay, Matt McCoy, Ernie Hudson, Julianne Moore, and Madeline Zima.

With a budget of just $11.9 million, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle was a box office success, grossing about $140 million worldwide.
