The Chi Season 8 Premiere Set for May 22

Lena Waithe’s acclaimed drama series The Chi will return for its eighth and final season on Friday, May 22, exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan. A first-look teaser for the highly anticipated conclusion is now available.

Produced by 20th Television, the 10-episode final season will roll out weekly every Friday.

The series stars Jacob Latimore, Birgundi Baker, Luke James, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Hannaha Hall, and Jason Weaver.

The Chi is created and executive-produced by Emmy winner Lena Waithe (Twenties, Master of None) under her Hillman Grad banner, and the series is executive-produced by co-showrunners Justin Hillian for Hillianaire Productions and Jewel Coronel for Uncut Gems.

Co-executive producers Deondray Gossfield and Quincy LeNear Gossfield return to direct multiple episodes. All previous seasons are currently available to stream on Paramount+ only with the Paramount+ Premium Plan.
