Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Title Reveal with One Year to Go
Paramount Pictures has released the title reveal for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which races into theaters on March 19, 2027.
Directed again by Jeff Fowler, who helmed the previous three films, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara.

The cast of the fourth installment includes Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Kristen Bell (as the recently announced Amy Rose), Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Ben Kingsley, Matt Berry, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Nick Offerman, and Richard Ayoade.
All the previous films have been rated PG and have gone up in box office with each installment. The first film was released in February 2020 and grossed $319.7 million worldwide. It was followed in April 2022 by Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which earned $405.4 million, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 opened in December 2024, bringing in $492.2 million.

In the third film, the team reunited to face a formidable foe, Shadow, a mysterious hedgehog with powers unlike anything they had ever seen. Together, team Sonic had to secure an unexpected alliance if they hoped to stop Shadow and save the planet they now call home.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 stars Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, and Keanu Reeves, who joined the cast as Shadow the Hedgehog.

Paramount Pictures presented, in association with SEGA SAMMY Group, a MARZA ANIMATION PLANET and Blur Studio production that was based on the SEGA video game.
