Shudder August 2025 Schedule Announced
AMC Networks’ Shudder has announced the titles that will be available on the streaming service next month. The Shudder August 2025 slate includes horror, thriller, and supernatural titles.
The August schedule includes the films Clown in a Cornfield and The Twin, the series The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, and more.
Shudder’s expanding library of films, TV series, and original content is available on most streaming devices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

FILMS
Urban Legend – Streaming on August 1 (Available in the US)
A college student suspects a series of bizarre deaths are connected to certain urban legends. Directed by Jamie Blanks, the film stars Jared Leto, Alicia Witt, and Rebecca Gayheart.
Urban Legends: Final Cut – Streaming on August 1 (Available in the US)
A film school is the center of a fresh spate of killings based on urban legends. Directed by John Ottman, the film stars Jennifer Morrison, Matthew Davis, Eva Mendes, and Anthony Anderson.

Gags the Clown – Streaming on August 4 (Available in the US and CA)
An unidentified man in Green Bay, WI has captured worldwide attention for roaming the streets dressed as a clown. Many write it off as a harmless prank, others aren’t so sure.
When a group of friends cross paths with the clown everyone calls Gags, his true intentions are revealed. Directed by Adam Krause.

Clown in a Cornfield (Shudder Film Premiere) – New Film Premieres on August 8 (Available in the US)
Looking for a fresh start, Quinn (Katie Douglas, Ginny & Georgia) and her father (Aaron Abrams, Hannibal, Blindspot) move to the quiet town of Kettle Springs. They soon learn the fractured community has fallen on hard times after losing a treasured factory to a fire.
As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning clown emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Directed by Eli Craig.

The Twin (Shudder Film Premiere) – New Film Premieres on August 29 (Available in the US and CA)
After the tragic loss of his son, Nicholas (Logan Donovan) struggles with his grief and a strained relationship with his wife Charlie (Aleksa Palladino). Under the watch of psychiatrist Dr. Beaumont (Robert Longstreet), Nicholas begins experiencing terrifying visions of a shadowy figure that looks like himself.
As reality unravels, Nicholas must confront his past and the supernatural force haunting him before it consumes him completely. Directed by J.C. Doler.
