Prime Video has announced the lineup of movies and TV shows that will be available on the service in May. The Prime Video May 2024 lineup includes new Amazon original movies, TV shows, and specials. Below, you can also view the titles that will be available on Amazon Freevee.
First up is the Amazon Original film The Idea of You, based on the acclaimed, contemporary love story of the same name. May also brings the return of fan-favorite series, including Outer Range, The Outlaws, and Clarkson’s Farm, plus brand new premieres like Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, The GOAT, and The 1% Club.
Country music lovers can livestream the Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16. There’s plenty to go around for sports fans as well, from the WNBA and NWSL to PBC and 99.
Prime members can also enjoy the award-winning film American Fiction, The Boys in the Boat, Die Hart 2: Die Harter. Even more titles are available to rent or buy via the Prime Video Store and with add-on subscriptions on Prime Video Channels.

The Idea of You (2024 – Streaming May 2)
Based on the acclaimed, contemporary love story of the same name, The Idea of You centers on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mom who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet.
Clarkson’s Farm Season 3 (2024 – Streaming May 3)
The third series of Clarkson’s Farm finds Diddly Squat facing some seriously daunting challenges. The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven supply prices sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed, and now the farm shop also faces closure. Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land – thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat.
This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles, and deer. Someone new arrives at Diddly Squat, which puts Kaleb’s nose out of joint. The returning characters are also working to help Jeremy’s farming ambitions come to fruition.
NWSL (2024 – Streaming May 3, 10, 17, and 24)
In March 2024, Prime Video kicked off its inaugural season with the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League), making the streamer the new home of one of the most prestigious soccer leagues in the world. The multiyear rights deal makes Prime Video the exclusive home for 27 matches throughout the 2024 season, four of which are in May.
Premier Boxing Champions Pay-Per-View Event on Prime Video (2024 – Streaming May 4)
Mexican superstars will go toe-to-toe for a blockbuster event on Cinco de Mayo weekend, as pound-for-pound great Canelo Álvarez will put his undisputed super middleweight world title on the line against unbeaten, all-action former world champion Jaime Munguía, in a PBC Pay-Per-View event on Prime Video on Saturday, May 4 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Maxton Hall – The World Between Us (2024 – Streaming May 9)
When Ruby unwittingly witnesses an explosive secret at Maxton Hall private school, the arrogant millionaire heir James Beaufort has to deal with the quick-witted scholarship student for better or worse. From that point on, the handsome student tries to buy Ruby’s silence. Although the two come from different worlds, they will soon risk everything to be together.
The GOAT (2024 – Streaming May 9)
14 reality superstars move into GOAT Manor to face off in a brand new, hilarious competition show hosted by Daniel Tosh. They will compete in over 20 challenges, earning and breaking one another’s trust as they battle it out for $200k…and the title of Greatest Of All Time.
Academy of Country Music Awards (2024 – Streaming May 16)
The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards will take place Thursday, May 16, live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The ACM Awards will give fans around the world an exclusive invitation to Country Music’s Party of the Year with the biggest stars and unforgettable live performances.
Outer Range Season 2 (2024 – Streaming May 16)
Outer Range centers on Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin), a rancher fighting for his land and family, who discovers an unfathomable phenomenon at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness: a dark void. The mystery surrounding the enigmatic void on the west pasture of the Abbott family ranch deepens in Season Two, as Royal and his wife Cecelia (Lili Taylor) struggle to keep their family together in the aftermath of their granddaughter’s sudden disappearance.
The stakes have never been higher for the Abbotts, who now face threats on multiple fronts. Outer Range’s second season propels its characters deeper into the void with profound and unforeseen circumstances that could shake the very foundations of time itself.
WNBA (2024 – Streaming May 16, 23, and 30)
In April 2024, Prime Video and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) announced a multi-year rights extension. Under this extension, Prime Video will continue to be the exclusive national streaming partner of 21 WNBA games each season, including the Championship Game of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase. The first game of the 2024 season is on May 16, with the New York Liberty and the Indiana Fever at 7 p.m. ET.
99 (2024 – Streaming May 17)
This series is both a love letter to one of the greatest achievements in world football and the story of a group of players who were recruited, coached, and molded by Sir Alex Ferguson to create history. Featuring exclusive interviews with the key characters in the story – including David Beckham, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – viewers will recall every perspective and vital moment in vivid detail.
Constructed using never-before-seen archive footage as well as behind-the-scenes candid video from the club and fans, 99 takes audiences back to a remarkable moment in sport, going behind the curtain of this era-defining triumph. 99 is coproduced by the award-winning documentary teams at Ventureland, Studio 99 – the production company founded by David Beckham – and Buzz16, founded by Gary Neville.
The 1% Club (2024 – Streaming weekly starting on May 23)
‘The 1% Club’, where the questions have nothing to do with remembering little-known facts, endless reams of dates, or obscure quiz trivia. Instead, they are all about applying logic, reasoning skills, and common sense.
The show begins with 100 contestants, who are then whittled down as they compete to make it to the end and answer a question only 1% of the country can get right in hopes of winning up to 100,000 dollars. A quiz that the whole family can play and enjoy together.
The Blue Angels (2024 – Streaming May 23)

DOM Season 3 (2024 – Streaming May 24)
In this final season of Dom, Pedro finds shelter in Rocinha, Rio’s largest favela, trying to escape from the police but, at the same time, threatened by drug dealers. Victor Dantas, aware of his son’s situation, faces lung cancer and does everything he can to try to save Pedro.
The Outlaws Season 3 (2024 – Streaming May 31)
