Ponies Trailer, Key Art, and Photos From Peacock
Peacock has released the official trailer, key art, and photos for the espionage thriller series Ponies, starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson. All eight episodes of the series will debut on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Moscow, 1977. Two “PONIES” (“persons of no interest” in intelligence speak) work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy. That is, until their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the USSR, and the pair become CIA operatives.

Bea (Emilia Clarke) is an over-educated, Russian-speaking child of Soviet immigrants. Her cohort, Twila (Haley Lu Richardson), is a small-town girl who is as abrasive as she is fearless.
Together, they work to uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and solve the mystery that made them widows in the first place.

In addition to Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, the Ponies cast includes Adrian Lester (Sandman, The Day After Tomorrow), Artjom Gilz (Tar, Das Boot), Nicholas Podany (Saturday Night, Hello Tomorrow), Petro Ninovskyi (Shttl, Silence), and Vic Michaelis (Very Important People, Upload).
David Iserson (Mr. Robot, New Girl) is the co-creator, co-writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Susanna Fogel (The Flight Attendant, The Spy Who Dumped Me) is the co-creator, director, co-writer, and executive producer.

The executive producers also include showrunner Mike Daniels (Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, The Village), Jessica Rhoades (Black Mirror, Station Eleven, and Dirty John), and Emilia Clarke.
Katherine Bridle, Alison Mo Massey, Jared Ian Goldman, and Rosa Handelman are the co-executive producers of the Universal Television series.
