Our Little Secret Trailer and Poster Featuring Lindsay Lohan
Netflix has revealed the official trailer and poster for the romantic comedy Our Little Secret, which will launch on the streaming service on November 27, 2024. In the film, two resentful exes are forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings.
Our Little Secret stars Lindsay Lohan as Avery, Ian Harding as Logan, Kristin Chenoweth as Erica, Tim Meadows as Stan, Jon Rudnitsky as Cameron, Henry Czerny as Mitchell, Judy Reyes as Margaret, and Chris Parnell as the veterinarian.
Dan Bucatinsky as Leonard, Katie Baker as Cassie, Jake Brennan as Callum, Ash Santos as Sophie, and Brian Unger as Paul round out the cast. Stephen Herek directed the movie from a script by Hailey DeDominicis.
Lisa Gooding and Mike Elliott are the producers of the film, which was executive-produced by Lindsay Lohan and Joseph P. Genier.
“The movie is about a girl who’s dating someone, and she goes to meet his family for the holidays,” Lindsay Lohan told Netflix blog Tudum previously. “Then she bumps into her ex, who is dating her boyfriend’s sister. And all kinds of stuff breaks loose.”
She added: “It’s so beautiful to be able to do films that are associated with holidays because it’s family time. When you can make a movie that families can remember and come together to see, it makes it all the more special.”
Ian Harding talked about how Logan knows Lohan’s Avery better than anyone else. “Logan remembers and adores a lot of what makes Avery, well, Avery.” That includes “[her] deep love of snacks and coffee, and the inability to realize that she will most likely be cold in any temperature under 70 degrees.”
In the middle of Our Little Secret is Erica Morgan (Kristin Chenoweth), the matriarch of all this yuletide mess. “There’s a lot of surprise family six-degrees-of-separation issues ahead, which is fun to play,” Chenoweth told Tudum.
Katie Baker, who portrays Erica’s daughter Cassie, joked, “Being compared to Kristin Chenoweth is actually my childhood dream come true.”
Logan and Cassie’s “relationship is a decent one. They’re both good people and care deeply for each other. They have fun together,” Harding said. “But running into Avery makes Logan take a step back and reconsider what he really needs in life and whether a relationship with anyone is a good idea at this stage of his life.”
Lohan and her Mean Girls co-star Tim Meadows are on-screen together again in Our Little Secret. “It was really lovely to see her again,” said Meadows. “The surprise to me — if any — was just how we both enjoy each other’s company. And she asked me to take a photo together first!”
Lohan called the moment “full circle. Tim is just such a wonderful human being. I just love being around him. We had a few moments where I could not stop laughing.”
