Novocaine Trailer Featuring Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder

Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer and poster for Novocaine, an upcoming action thriller directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen.

Opening in theaters on March 14, 2025, the film is officially described as follows: “When the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Jack Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.”

Novocaine is executive-produced by Paul Barbeau, Glen Basner, Josh Adler, Lars Jacobson and Alison Cohen. The producers include Drew Simon, Tory Tunnell, Joby Harold, Sam Speiser, Matt Schwartz and Julian Rosenberg.

Written by Lars Jacobson, the film stars Jack Quaid (The Boys), Amber Midthunder (Prey), Ray Nicholson, Betty Gabriel, Matt Walsh, Lou Beatty Jr., Van Hengst, Conrad Kemp and Jacob Batalon.

Paramount Pictures is presenting, in association with Infrared Pictures (this marks the first movie for the production label), a Safehouse Pictures and Circle Management + Production production. Novocaine, which has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA), was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, earlier this year.

“Novocaine is a non-stop, edge-of-the-seat action thriller loaded with all the heart, humor and kickass-ery you could ever want,” the producers said when the film was announced. “We couldn’t be more excited to get shooting next year with Dan and Bobby, who are true talents that we believe are the next big directors in the action space.”

“It’s hard to find unique access points in this genre, but this film and the unlikely hero at its heart captured our imagination right away,” added Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, whose credits include Significant Other, Villains and Body.
