Mutiny Trailer and Poster Featuring Jason Statham

Lionsgate has released the official trailer and poster for the action thriller Mutiny, which will open in theaters on August 21, 2026.

Directed by Jean-François Richet from a script by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis, the film has been rated R by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for strong/bloody violence and language.

In Mutiny, after witnessing his billionaire boss’s murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.

In addition to Jason Statham, the cast also includes Annabelle Wallis, Roland Møller, and Adrian Lester. Marcus Trumpp composed the score for the film.

Lionsgate is presenting a MadRiver Pictures and Punch Palace production. The producers include Marc Butan and Jason Statham (Shelter, A Working Man).

With a runtime of 95 minutes, Mutiny began principal photography in the UK in September 2024. Filming wrapped on November 25 of that year.
