A Working Man Trailer Featuring Jason Statham
Amazon MGM Studios has released the official trailer and poster for action film A Working Man, opening in theaters on March 28.
A Working Man was directed by David Ayer from a script by Sylvester Stallone and Ayer. It is rated R for strong violence, language throughout, and drug content.
In the film, Levon Cade (Jason Statham) left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction.
But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.
In addition to Jason Statham, A Working Man stars Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinski and Cokey Falkow, with Michael Peña and David Harbour. The movie also features Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan and Eve Mauro.
The film is based on the book Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon. The novel is officially described as follows: “Levon Cade left his profession behind to work construction. He just wants to live an anonymous life and be a good dad to his daughter.
“But when a local girl vanishes he’s asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counter-terrorism. His hunt for the missing college student takes him to the heart of a vicious criminal conspiracy.
“Levon’s actions create a chain reaction that threatens all he holds dear. It’s time for him to return to his trade. And Levon’s trade is death.
“Long recognized as one of the seminal writers on Marvel Comics’ The Punisher, Chuck Dixon returns to the brand of vigilante justice that made him a legendary writer of action stories.”
Chris Long, Jason Statham, John Friedberg, David Ayer, Sylvester Stallone, Bill Block and Kevin King Templeton are the producers. The executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Mike Shanks, Jill Silfen, Volodymyr Artemenko, Yevgen Stupka, Alexis Garcia, Rachael Cole and Thomas Zadra.
Amazon MGM Studios and Black Bear are presenting the film in association with Eastern Film Investments, CAT5 and Fifth Season. A Working Man is a Black Bear, Cedar Park, Punch Palace and Balboa production.
