Marinette, a shy and clumsy high school student at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, dreams of becoming a great fashion designer.
But soon, she ends up finding love and her real destiny — to save the world as the superhero Ladybug along with her sidekick, Cat Noir.
The only problem? Cat Noir is the son of Gabriel, Marinette’s fashion idol – aka Hawk Moth, Ladybug’s nemesis.

The cast of the film includes Cristina Vee Valenzuela (Marinette / Ladybug), Bryce Papenbrook (Adrien / Cat Noir), Keith Silverstein (Gabriel Agreste / Hawk Moth), Carrie Keranen (Alya), Selah Victor (Chloé Bourgeois), and Zeno Robinson (Nino).
The cast also includes Chris Smith (Tom), Anne Yatco (Sabine), Paul St Peter (Wang Fu), Mela Lee (Tikki), Max Mittelman (Plagg), Cassandra Lee Morris (Sabrina), Sabrina Weisz (Nathalie). The movie is directed by Jeremy Zag.
The story for Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie comes to us from Zag with a screenplay by Zag and Bettina López Mendoza. It’s produced by Aton Soumache, Zag, and Daisy Shang.
The executive producers include Emmanuel Jacomet, Michael Gracey, Tyler Thompson, Alexis Vonarb, Jean-Bernard Marinot, Cynthia Zouari, Thierry Pasquet, and Ben Li. Jeremy Zag also composed the score.
The new series is based on Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir series by Thomas Astruc and Nathanaël Bronn.
