MGM+ has announced the titles coming to the premium linear channel and streaming service during the month of May. The MGM Plus May 2024 lineup includes new Beacon 23 Season 2 episodes and the films French Girl and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.

MGM+ is a destination for premium content, with original series including sci-fi horror series From, Emmy-winning series Godfather of Harlem, the Western adventure Billy the Kid, the anticipated new series Hotel Cocaine and Emperor of Ocean Park, the limited series A Spy Among Friends, and cinematic dramatic series Rogue Heroes, War of the Worlds, and Beacon 23.
The network is also the home of acclaimed docuseries, including the critically acclaimed In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon, Emmy-nominated Laurel Canyon, My Life as a Rolling Stone, and NFL Icons. Premium movies are also available, including Top Gun: Maverick, The Beekeeper, The Boys in the Boat, American Fiction, and Mean Girls 2.

Beacon 23 Season 2 is a continuation of the science fiction drama based on the best-selling book of the same name by Hugh Howey. Beacon 23 takes place in the farthest reaches of the Milky Way and Season One followed Aster (Lena Headey), a government agent, and Halan (Stephan James), a stoic ex-military man, whose fates became entangled after they found themselves trapped together inside one of many Beacons that served as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers.
In the second season, Beacon 23 is now little more than a prison with Aleph onboard, and The Artifact provides more questions than answers. Without a clear path forward, the inhabitants of Beacon 23 must rely on each other, but their conflicting agendas may get in the way. This season will feature Stephan James (Homecoming), Natasha Mumba (The Last of Us), and Ellen Wong (GLOW).

After being pulled from the pocket universe, Dosto is strangely elusive about the whereabouts of his crew. When they get another distress call, Halan and Iris rescue the remaining crew, but tensions rise when they see Dosto is also onboard.

Beacon Keeper Jocko welcomes a new trainee, a teenage Aster. The two develop a shaky but functional rapport, but Aster senses Jocko is hiding something. After tracking down the source of strange noises on the beacon, Aster must confront Jocko.
“Free” – May 19, 2024 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Imprisoned by the Sybarrans, Halan, and Iris must work together to reclaim the beacon. Halan’s past catches up to him when a military ship comes looking for the lost Sybarrans.
“Disintegration” – May 26, 2024 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
After agreeing to receive an implant, Halan is surprised to find that the procedure puts him face-to-face with Aleph. In the ultimate showdown, Harmony protects the beacon by any means necessary.
