Man on Fire Trailer and Key Art Debut
Today, Netflix released the official trailer and key art for the upcoming action drama Man on Fire, featuring Emmy Award-winning Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as John Creasy, a former Special Forces mercenary plagued by intense PTSD who’s forced back into the flames as he fights to protect those he loves.
“Creasy has no problems helping someone else, but when it comes to saying yes, allowing himself to be helped — that’s when we see him really struggle,” said Yahya Abdul-Mateen II about the character.

Man on Fire, which will premiere globally on Thursday, April 30, also stars Billie Boullet, Bobby Cannavale, Alice Braga, Scoot McNairy, and Paul Ben-Victor.
Based on A.J. Quinnell’s books, the seven-episode series tells the story of John Creasy. Once a high-functioning and skilled Special Forces Mercenary, known for surviving even the most desolate of situations, Creasy is now plagued with intense PTSD.

Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption. But before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever.
