From creator Matt Roller (Rick and Morty), Haunted Hotel opened its doors on September 19, 2025, and landed on Netflix’s Global English TV Top 10 list.

In the series, a single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.
The voice cast of the 10-episode first season includes Will Forte (Nathan), Eliza Coupe (Katherine), Skyler Gisondo (Ben), Natalie Palamides (Esther), and Jimmi Simpson (Abaddon).

Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty), Steve Levy, and Matt Roller are the executive producers. Erica Hayes (Rick and Morty) is the supervising director.
Titmouse serves as the studio, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also acting as executive producers.

Matt Roller recently served as a co-executive producer on Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s Mr. Mayor, and two seasons of The Goldbergs. Previously, he wrote for Speechless, Community, Son of Zorn, Rick and Morty, and FX’s Archer.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Netflix and an amazingly talented cast and crew to bring to life the stories of the dead, the evil, and the struggling hospitality workers at the Undervale Hotel,” Roller said previously.

“Haunted Hotel is wildly inventive and I’m very grateful to Matt, Chris, Dan, and their team for bringing their talents to Netflix,” added Billy Wee, Netflix Director of Adult Animation.
“They are phenomenal collaborators, and I can’t wait for fans all over the world to experience this hilarious show.”
