Haunted Hotel Trailer and Key Art Unveiled by Netflix
Netflix has unveiled the official trailer and key art for the adult animated comedy series Haunted Hotel, which comes from the spooky minds behind Rick and Morty.
Opening its doors on September 19, 2025, the series centers on a single mother of two who struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.

The voice cast of the 10-episode Haunted Hotel series includes Will Forte (Nathan), Eliza Coupe (Katherine), Skyler Gisondo (Ben), Natalie Palamides (Esther), and Jimmi Simpson (Abaddon).
The series was created by Matt Roller, who recently served as a co-executive producer on Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s Mr. Mayor, and two seasons of The Goldbergs. Previously, he wrote for Speechless, Community, Son of Zorn, Rick and Morty, and FX’s Archer.

The executive producers include Roller, Chris McKenna (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Far From Home), Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community), and Steve Levy (Rick and Morty, Community). Erica Hayes (Rick and Morty, Carol & the End of the World) will serve as supervising director.
Titmouse serves as the studio with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also acting as executive producers.

“I can’t wait for everyone to meet the Freeling family and see how they tackle nightmare guests and ghosts in our beautifully animated hotel,” said Roller. “This is a show for fans of comedy, horror, horror comedy, families, hotels, cults, monsters with tentacles, monsters without tentacles, werewolves, and blenders.”
This month, Netflix is celebrating its adult animated comedy slate and the release of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Fixed (August 13) and Raphael Bob-Waksberg’s Long Story Short (August 22).
