Happy’s Place Renewed for a Second Season
NBC has ordered a second season of its hit comedy series Happy’s Place. The pilot episode of the series is now up to 17.6 million viewers across all platforms, +338% from its initial airing on Oct. 18.
·The show has improved NBC’s Friday 8 p.m. timeslot by 54% in total viewers, the network revealed today. The series is also the #2 NBC comedy launch ever on Peacock, behind only the network’s other freshman hit, St. Denis Medical.

New NBC comedies Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical have reached nearly 45 million viewers across linear and digital platforms this season.
Happy’s Place airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock. In the show, Bobbie (Reba McEntire) inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

The series stars Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn. Writer Kevin Abbott executive produces with Reba McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry and Pamela Fryman.
