Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 to Stream on Peacock April 3

Produced by Emmy-winning producer Jason Blum and written by award-winning video game developer Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will stream exclusively on Peacock on April 3.

Directed by Emma Tammi, the second installment of the hit franchise stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Matthew Lillard, and more. The film was rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for violent content, terror, and some language.

One year after the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a shocking new chapter of terror begins when former security guard Mike’s sister, Abby, sneaks out in search of her animatronic friends: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

As terrifying events begin to unfold, dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s are revealed, unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away for decades. The cast also Mckenna Grace, Freddy Carter, Theodus Crane, Teo Briones, Wayne Knight, and Skeet Ulrich.

The sequel opened in theaters in December 2025 and grossed $238. 4 million at the global box office, with $127.7 million from domestic theaters and $110.7 million from international markets. The first film was released in October 2023 and grossed $291.5 million globally, with $137.2 million from North America and $154.3 million from overseas.

Universal’s biggest films of the year stream first on Peacock. Peacock subscribers get access to award-winning films and blockbuster favorites from Universal Pictures, Blumhouse, Focus Features, Illumination, and DreamWorks Animation, often accompanied by bonus features, extended cuts, and unrated versions.
