Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy First Look Revealed
Peacock has revealed the premiere date, teaser, and tease art for Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy. All eight episodes of the limited crime drama will be available to stream on October 16.
From 1972-1978, thirty-three young men were kidnapped, murdered, and buried in a crawl space beneath their killer’s house. And no one was the wiser. Not for all those years. Why?

He was charming and funny. Had a good, all-American job. Was a community leader. He even volunteered to entertain sick kids… while dressed as a clown.
Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy peels back the twisted layers of Gacy’s life while weaving in heartrending stories of his victims, exploring the grief, guilt, and trauma of their families and friends, and exposing the systemic failures, missed opportunities, and societal prejudices that fueled his reign of terror.

The cast includes Michael Chernus (Severance, Dead Ringers), Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us, Terminator: Dark Fate), James Badge Dale (Savant, 1923), Michael Angarano (Oppenheimer, This Is Us), Chris Sullivan (This Is Us, Mercy), and Marin Ireland (The Irishman, The Umbrella Academy).
Patrick Macmanus (Dr. Death, The Girl From Plainville) is the showrunner, writer, and one of the executive producers. He directs (episode 108) with Larysa Kondracki (101, 106), Ashley Michel Hoban (102), Maggie Kiley (103, 104), and Bille Woodruff (105, 107).

The executive producers also include Noah Oppenheim (Zero Day, The Maze Runner, Jackie) and Liz Cole (The Thing About Pam) for NBC News Studios, as well as Ashley Michel Hoban (Dr. Death 2, The Girl From Plainville), Ahmadu Garba (Dr. Death, Halo), and Kelly Funke for Littleton Road Productions.
Filmed in Toronto, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy comes from UCP, a division of the Universal Studio Group.
