NBC has announced that the 10th season of drama The Blacklist will serve as the show’s final season, while the network has renewed La Brea for a shortened third season.
The upcoming milestone 10th season for NBC’s The Blacklist will debut Sunday, February 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series’ 200th episode will air Sunday, March 19. You can watch the Season 10 trailer below.

The Blacklist returns as Raymond Reddington (James Spader) confronts unparalleled danger. With Reddington’s covert role as an FBI informant facing exposure, former Blacklisters will unite against him in their lethal desire for revenge – testing Red and the FBI Task Force as never before.
Last season, The Blacklist reached 29.1 million viewers on NBC and more than doubled its 18-49 demo and total viewers in L+35 vs. same day.
The Blacklist has garnered awards recognition, including two Golden Globe Award nominations for James Spader, one Emmy Award win and eight nominations in the stunt categories, an Emmy nomination for guest star Alan Alda, a SAG Award nomination, two People’s Choice Award nominations, three Environmental Media Association Award wins and multiple Guild of Music Supervisors Award nominations.
The Blacklist stars James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfiq, Anya Banerjee and Harry Lennix. John Eisendrath, Jon Bokenkamp, John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment, James Spader, Lukas Reiter, Laura A. Benson, Daniel Cerone, Sean Hennen, Allison Glock-Cooper, and T Cooper serve as executive producers.
The Blacklist is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
NBC also announced that La Brea will also return for a third season, though Deadline adds that the season will consist of just six episodes and that it will be the show’s final chapter. The reason? A potential writers strike later this year.
Filming is slated to begin in Australia this March. La Brea follows an epic family adventure after a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles pulling people and buildings into a mysterious and dangerous primeval land where they have no choice but to band together to survive.
The cast includes Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo, Zyra Gorecki, Jack Martin, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, Josh McKenzie, Tonantzin Carmelo, and Michelle Vergara Moore.
Creator/showrunner David Appelbaum executive produces with Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Chris Hollier, Adam Davidson, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, Ken Woodruff, and Arika Lisanne Mittman.
La Brea is produced by Universal Television and Australia’s Matchbox Pictures, both divisions of Universal Studio Group, in association with Keshet Studios.
The first season of the NBC hit drama was the #1 new show of the fall in the 18-49 demo, and the #1 new drama of the 2021-22 season in the 18-49 demo. All previous episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
