Apple TV+ April 2025 Schedule Announced
Apple TV+ has announced the programming that will be added to the streaming service next month. The Apple TV Plus April 2025 lineup includes the comedy series Government Cheese, the third season of the kids & family series Jane, the drama series Carême and Your Friends & Neighbors, and the second season of the animated series WondLa.
Apple TV+ offers drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment. It is available on the Apple TV app on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, VIZIO, TCL, and others, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and at the Apple site.

Your Friends & Neighbors (TV-MA Drama Series)
“Your Friends & Neighbors” is a compelling drama series from creator Jonathan Tropper and starring and executive produced by Jon Hamm.
Already renewed for a second season, the nine-episode first season will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with two episodes on Friday, April 11, followed by one new episode weekly through Friday, May 30.

After being fired in disgrace, Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager still grappling with his recent divorce, resorts to stealing from his neighbors’ homes in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village, only to discover that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.
Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt, and Donovan Colan star alongside Hamm.

Hailing from Apple Studios and produced by Tropper Ink, the new series is created by bestselling author Tropper, who serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer under his overall deal with Apple TV+.
Hamm executive produces alongside Connie Tavel and Craig Gillespie. Gillespie also directs episodes 101-102. Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes, and Tropper direct additional episodes.

Government Cheese (Comedy Series)
“Government Cheese” stars multi-award-winner David Oyelowo, who also serves as executive producer. The 10-episode comedy will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 16, with the first four episodes followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 28, 2025.
Simone Missick, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, and Evan Ellison star alongside Oyelowo in the Apple Original series hailing from creators Paul Hunter and Aeysha Carr.

“Government Cheese” is a surrealist family comedy set in 1969 San Fernando Valley that tells the story of the Chambers, a quirky family pursuing lofty and seemingly impossible dreams, beautifully unfettered by the realities of the world. When Hampton Chambers (Oyelowo) is released from prison, his long-awaited family reunion doesn’t go quite as he’d planned.
During his absence, Hampton’s wife Astoria (Missick) and sons Einstein (Ellison) and Harrison (Di’Allo Winston) have formed an unconventional family unit, and Hampton’s return spins their world into chaos.

The ensemble cast also includes Jean-Michel Richaud, London Garcia, Djilali Rez-Kallah, Bokeem Woodbine, Jeremy Bobb, Louis Cancelmi, Julien Heron, Louis Ferreira, Thomas Beaudoin, and Kyle Mac, with John Ortiz and Adam Beach.
Hailing from Apple Studios and MACRO Television Studios, “Government Cheese” is written, executive produced and co-showrun by Hunter and Carr, with Hunter also serving as director. In addition to starring, Oyelowo executive produces under his Yoruba Saxon banner. The series is also executive produced by Charles D. King and Jelani Johnson for MACRO Television Studios. Ali Brown executive produces for Ventureland.

Jane Season 3 (TV-G Kids & Family Series)
The Emmy award-winning original series for kids and families is inspired by the work of world-renowned ethologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a United Nations Messenger of Peace, who also makes a special appearance in the upcoming season.
From Emmy Award winner J.J. Johnson (“Dino Dana,” “Endlings,” “Ghostwriter”), Sinking Ship Entertainment, and the Jane Goodall Institute, the five-episode, third installment of “Jane” premieres globally on Friday, April 18 on Apple TV+.

Ava Louise Murchison (“Reacher”) stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals.
Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg (“Shameless”), and Greybeard, the chimpanzee, on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

From Sinking Ship Entertainment, “Jane,” a live-action/CGI blended series, is created by company partner Johnson, who executive produces alongside Christin Simms, Blair Powers, Matt Bishop, and the Jane Goodall Institute’s Andria Teather.
The series recently won a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Live Action Program, a DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement, an Imagen Award for Best Young Actor Ava Louise Murchison, and was recognized by the Environmental Media Association Awards in the Children’s Television category.

WondLa (TV-PG Animated Series)
The animated adventure trilogy WondLa will continue with its second season on April 25, 2025. Hailing from Skydance Animation and based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s New York Times bestselling book series The Search for WondLa, the series is showrun and executive produced by Bobs Gannaway.
This second installment features a star-studded voice cast, including Jeanine Mason (Roswell, New Mexico) as Eva, Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) as Otto, Gary Anthony Williams (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) as Rovender, and many more.

Emmy Award nominee Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) returns as the voice of Eva’s new caretaker. New cast members for WondLa Season 2 include John Kim (Cruel Intentions) as Hailey and Ana Villafañe (Castro’s Daughter) as Eva 8.
This futuristic coming-of-age story follows 16-year-old Eva 9 as her epic journey continues and she uncovers startling truths about her past and the world she calls home. Picking up from season one’s shocking cliffhanger, Eva is drawn toward the promise of home — but discoveries only lead to more unanswered questions.

The epic trilogy’s sophomore season continues with seven adventure-packed half-hour episodes executive produced by DiTerlizzi and Gannaway alongside Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, Julie Kane-Ritsch, and Skydance Animation’s John Lasseter, David Ellison, and Dana Goldberg. Tony Cosanella also produces the series.

Carême (TV-MA Drama Series)
The French-language drama “Carême” stars César Award winner Benjamin Voisin (“Lost Illusions”), César Award nominee Jérémie Renier (“My Way”), César Award winner Lyna Khoudri (“Papicha”) and Alice Da Luz (“Hanami”).
The series is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Martin Bourboulon (“Les Trois Mousquetaires: D’Artagnan”). “Carême” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on April 30, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by one episode weekly every Wednesday through June 11, 2025.

“Carême” follows the thrilling story of the world’s first celebrity chef, Antonin Carême (Voisin), who rose from humble beginnings in Paris to the height of culinary stardom in Napoleon’s Europe.
While he dreams only of becoming the most famous chef in the world, his talent and ambitions attract the attention of renowned and powerful politicians, who use him as a spy for France. Determined to escape poverty and fulfill his dream, Carême can choose revenge, or he can have it all — women, wealth, fame — but at what cost? His love? His soul? His life?

Based on the book “Cooking for Kings: The Life of Antonin Carême, the First Celebrity Chef” by multi-award-winning historian and playwright Ian Kelly (“The King’s Man”), “Carême” is created by Kelly and Davide Serino (“The Bad Guy”).
