Apple TV has announced the programming coming to the streaming service next month. The Apple TV October 2026 lineup includes The Last First: Winter K2, Matchbox The Movie, Nocturne, The Sisters Grimm Season 2, Small Prophets, Tenzing, and Where’s Wanda? Season 2.
Apple TV is available on the Apple TV app in over 100 countries and regions, on over 1 billion screens, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, popular smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, VIZIO, TCL and others, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles, and at the Apple site.

The Last First: Winter K2 (TV-MA Documentary Film)
In “The Last First: Winter K2,” Amir Bar-Lev tells a complex, harrowing, and moving story that unflinchingly examines the extreme mountain-climbing industry and its changing culture. Focusing on a 2021 expedition, this documentary follows Icelander John Snorri Sigurjónsson and the Pakistani father-son team of Ali and Sajid Sadpara, a party of mountaineers who set out to be the first to summit K2 in winter, when the mountain’s conditions are at their cruelest.
The men soon find themselves sharing the treacherous ascent with influencer climbers and their film crews, commercial expedition clients and a Nepalese team no longer content to help Westerners achieve mountaineering glory.
“The Last First: Winter K2” takes us to the icy heights and unpredictable weather of K2, revealing a surprising, layered story — one of strategy and determination, class and caste, money and power — all under life-and-death circumstances.
“The Last First: Winter K2” is directed by Bar-Lev. The film is produced by Howard T. Owens and Ben Silverman through Propagate Content; Sean Richard produces for Object Studios; and Sarah Thomson and John Battsek serve as producers for Ventureland. The Sisters Grimm Season 2 (TV-G Kids & Family Series)
Based on Michael Buckley’s New York Times bestselling book series, “The Sisters Grimm” is a journey of adventure and heart about sleuth-solving sisters descended from the Brothers Grimm who, while very different, make a pretty great team. In season two, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue to uncover the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy-tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.
The series is led by a stellar voice cast, including Ariel Winter (“Modern Family”) as Sabrina, Leah Newman as Daphne, Laraine Newman (“Saturday Night Live”) as Relda, Abubakar Salim (“Raised by Wolves”) as Charming, Billy Harris (“Ted Lasso”) as Puck and Harry Trevaldwyn (“How to Train Your Dragon”) as Mirror.
“The Sisters Grimm” is developed by Emmy Award nominee Amy Higgins (“Star vs. the Forces of Evil”), who serves as showrunner, and Emmy Award nominee Erica Rothschild (“Sofia the First”). Emmy Award-winning studio Titmouse (“Duck & Goose,” “Harriet the Spy,” “Frog and Toad”) produces the animation.
The six-episode series is executive produced by Higgins, Buckley (“Robotomy”), Emmy Award winner Elliot Blake (“Re\Visioned: Tomb Raider”), Emmy Award winner Philip Alberstat (“The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie”), Steven Amato (“27 Mins”), and Theresa Park (“Roar,” “Expats”) alongside Titmouse’s Chris Prynoski (“The Legend of Vox Machina”), Shannon Prynoski (“Scavengers Reign”), Ben Kalina (“Big Mouth”), and Antonio Canobbio (“Digman!”). Small Prophets (Comedy Series)
“Small Prophets” is an acclaimed six-episode comedy from BAFTA Award-winning creator, writer, and director Mackenzie Crook (“Detectorists”), which premiered on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two in the U.K. earlier this year. The series will premiere on Apple TV on October 7, 2026, excluding the U.K., where it will be available to Apple TV subscribers in 2027.
The series features a host of beloved comedy stars including Mackenzie Crook, Pearce Quigley (“Detectorists”), Lauren Patel (“Waterloo Road”), BAFTA Award winner Sir Michael Palin (‘Monty Python”), BAFTA Award winner Sophie Willan (“Alma’s Not Normal”), BAFTA Award nominee Jon Pointing (“Big Boys”), and SAG Award nominee Paul Kaye (“Game of Thrones”).
“Small Prophets” is a comic tale of the eccentric Michael Sleep (Quigley) who, since his darling Clea disappeared seven years ago, has lived a very ordinary life. He works at a DIY store, visits his dad, Brian (Palin), and hopes that Clea will return.
One day Brian shares an old recipe involving rainwater, horse manure and more than a little alchemy. With the recipe in hand, Michael sets out (albeit with some skepticism) to create homunculi — magical spirits that can predict the future — in the hope they have the answer to his burning question: “Will I ever see Clea again?”
Michael gets help from his young coworker, Kacey (Patel), in an unlikely friendship that blossoms, though not wholly, through their mutual dislike of store manager Gordon (Mackenzie Crook). Their friendship adds to the frustration and intrigue of his nosy neighbors (Willan, Pointing), who are obsessed with finding out what the hell is going on in the garden shed.
The series is produced by Treasure Trove Productions and Blue House Productions, and is created, written and directed by Mackenzie Crook. Executive producers are Mackenzie Crook and Lisa Thomas for Treasure Trove Productions, and Christine Gernon and Emma Strain for Blue House Productions. Matchbox The Movie (PG-13 Action Film)
Inspired by the iconic Mattel toys, “Matchbox The Movie” is an action-packed, globe-trotting adventure about a group of friends since childhood who have their lives upended when undercover CIA agent Sean (John Cena), their long-absent former leader, returns to their small town and unwittingly gets them embroiled in a frantic international pursuit to save the world.
The cast includes John Cena, Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, Teyonah Parris, Corey Stoll, Bill Camp, Golshifteh Farahani, and Danai Gurira.
An Apple Original Film from Skydance Media and Mattel Studios, “Matchbox The Movie” is directed and executive-produced by Sam Hargrave and written by David Coggeshall. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger produce for Skydance, and Robbie Brenner and Ynon Kreiz produce for Mattel Studios.

Tenzing (TV-PG Drama Adventure Film – In Select Theaters Oct. 9)
“Tenzing” is a new feature by director Jennifer Peedom, starring Genden Phuntsok, Tom Hiddleston, Willem Dafoe, Caitríona Balfe, Thinley Lhamo, and Tenzin Dalha. “Tenzing” will premiere in select theaters on October 9, 2026, and globally on Apple TV on October 16.
Based on true events, “Tenzing” chronicles the little-known story of Tenzing Norgay (Phuntsok), a gifted Himalayan climber who, alongside New Zealand mountaineer Edmund Hillary (Hiddleston), became the first to summit Mount Everest. Encouraged by his wife, Dawa (Lhamo), Tenzing finds an ally in expedition secretary Jill Henderson (Balfe).
Together, they persuade Colonel John Hunt (Dafoe) that Tenzing belongs on the British climbing team, rather than merely serving it. Where Western climbers see “Everest” as something to be conquered, Tenzing reveres “Chomolungma” as the sacred mother goddess.
What follows is an ascent defined as much by the tensions between backgrounds, classes and competing ambitions as by the perils of the mountain itself. But high above the world, empire, rank and aspiration fall away, leaving two outsiders bound by mutual respect and trust — and for Tenzing, the fulfillment of both a lifelong dream and a spiritual calling.

Where’s Wanda? Season 2 (TV-14 Comedy Series)
Produced by UFA Fiction, the eight-episode second season of the German-language dark comedy series stars International Emmy Award nominee Heike Makatsch (“Love Actually”), German Comedy Award winner Axel Stein (“The Vault”), multiple award-winning actress Lea Drinda (“The Gryphon”), Leo Simon, and Nikeata Thompson (“Späti”).
Season two will make its global debut on Apple TV with one episode on Wednesday, October 21, followed by a new episode weekly through Wednesday, December 9.
In season two, the Klatts (Makatsch and Stein) are back! Just as they thought their lives were finally returning to normal, their daughter, Wanda (Drinda), is caught seemingly red-handed standing over a dead body. They will need to do everything in their power to prove her innocence and avoid losing her again, as their investigation to find the real murderer takes them into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town.

Nocturne (TV-MA Drama Series)
“Nocturne” is the riveting new drama based on the internationally bestselling crime novels “Lazarus” and “The Sandman” by Lars Kepler. The series stars and is executive produced by Tony Award winner, Actor Award winner, Emmy Award nominee and Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber, as well as Emmy Award nominee Zazie Beetz. The series also stars Emmy Award, Golden Globe and Actor Award winner Stephen Graham.
The 10-episode drama is developed for television, written and executive produced by John Hlavin (“Shooter,” “The Man Who Fell to Earth”), who also serves as the series showrunner, and is created for television, written and executive produced by BAFTA Award winner Rowan Joffé (“Tin Star,” “Ballad of a Small Player”).
“Nocturne” will make its global debut on Friday, October 30, with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through December 25 on Apple TV.
The project tells the story of Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who, tired of working the tough streets of Philadelphia, moves to a small town in western Pennsylvania for a quiet life.
But, as the town and his family come under attack from the diabolically cunning serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham), Jonah must protect all that he holds dear. When the desperate search for Jurek’s last missing victim forces Jonah to send his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), up against Jurek, how far will Jonah go?
The ensemble cast starring alongside Schreiber, Beetz and Graham includes Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan and Gary Carr.
