Apple Original Films has released the new trailer for The Lost Bus, which is set to debut in select theaters on September 19, 2025. The thriller will then premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3.
Directed by Paul Greengrass and inspired by real events, The Lost Bus is a white-knuckle ride through one of America’s deadliest wildfires, as a wayward school bus driver (Matthew McConaughey) and a dedicated school teacher (America Ferrera) battle to save 22 children from the terrifying inferno.

Written by Greengrass and Brad Inglesby, who also serve as producers, The Lost Bus is produced by Gregory Goodman, Jason Blum for Blumhouse Productions, and Jamie Lee Curtis for Comet Pictures.
The R-rated film is executive-produced by Amy Lord and Lizzie Johnson, author of Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire. In addition to Matthew McConaughey, America Ferrera, Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson also star in the film.
