The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess (HIDIVE Exclusive) – Series Premiere October 7
A blood-sucking good time heads to HIDIVE this fall with the October 7 premiere of The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess, the exclusive new fantasy comedy series based on the popular shōnen light novel series of the same name written by Kotei Kobayashi and illustrated by Riichu.

Three years into her life as a shut-in, vampire Terakomari Gandesblood (Komari for short), awakens to find she’s been appointed as a Commander in the Mulnite Imperial Army! The thing is, her new unit consists solely of belligerent ruffians who revolt against their superiors at the slightest hint of weakness.

Although Komari hails from a line of vampires as powerful as they are prestigious, her refusal to drink blood has made her the picture of mediocrity—scrawny, un-coordinated, and inept at magic. With the odds stacked against her, will the help of her trusty (and slightly infatuated) maid Vill be enough for this recluse to blunder her way to success?

Or will Komari rue the day she ever left the safety of her room? The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess is produced by project No. 9 with direction by Tatsuma Minamikawa and writing by Keiichirō Ōchi.

Instead, a fighting tournament will determine who inherits the crown and the task of leading the demons back to their former glory. The latest tournament of succession is going smoothly — except for the tiny detail that a former HUMAN hero named Helck just walked away victorious!

Sure, Helck claims he hates humans as much as the next demon, but his new subjects aren’t so sure of his motivations. They send Red Vamirio, one of the Four Heavenly Demon Kings, to investigate Helck’s true intentions for the demon realm.

The title of Demon King is at stake, and now the fate of demon world is in Red’s demonic hands! Helck is produced by SATELIGHT Inc. with direction by Tatsuo Sato and writing by Toshizo Nemoto.
