Acorn TV November 2023 Schedule Announced

Acorn TV has announced the titles that are coming to the AMC-owned streaming service in November. The Acorn TV November 2023 slate adds to the service’s variety of acclaimed English and foreign-language dramas, engaging comedies, documentaries, and more.

The schedule includes the season finale of Harry Wild Season 2, The Chase Season 2, Steeltown Murders, all four seasons of Killing Eve, and more.

Harry Wild Season 2 (Acorn TV Original Series) – Season Finale on Monday, November 6
Season Two follows former literature professor, Harry Wild (Jane Seymour), who has found an unusual pastime in retirement: solving crimes along with her young partner in PI work, Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd, Whitstable Pearl).

Together the wise-cracking pair investigate cases ranging from missing persons to murders, much to the annoyance of Harry’s son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan, Guilt), who’s a detective in the Dublin Garda. When Fergus’s mother suddenly turns up, years after abandoning her family, they have a deeply personal mystery to solve: What are her intentions? And can he trust her?

The Chase Season 2 (Acorn TV Exclusive Series) – New Series Binge Premiere Monday, November 13
Welcome to the world of Chevin Chase, a family-run veterinary practice in Yorkshire, where sparks fly and backstabbing is all part of the business. When George Williams (Keith Barron) announces his retirement, his pregnant daughter, Anna (Gaynor Faye) is left to pick up the pieces of the struggling practice with her estranged sister, Sara (Nicola Stephenson).

Surrounded by a multitude of animal illnesses, the staff must also contend with problems of their own as tensions mount, personalities clash and dark secrets are exposed.

Steeltown Murders (Acorn TV Exclusive Series) – New Miniseries Binge Premiere Monday, November 27
Set in both 1973 and the early 2000s, Steeltown Murders follows the hunt for a killer in the Port Talbot area of Wales, and how in the first case of its kind, the mystery was solved nearly 30 years after the crime, using modern DNA analysis.

Contrasting police methods of the 1970s with the forensic breakthroughs of the 2000s, the miniseries is a portrait of a town dealing with the repercussions of an unsolved case three decades later, and asks if justice can ever truly be found.

Killing Eve Season 1 – Binge
Based on the novellas by Luke Jennings, BBCA’s Killing Eve centers on two women; Eve (Sandra Oh, Grey’s Anatomy, The Chair) is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade security services operative whose desk bound job doesn’t fulfil her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle (Jodie Comer, The Last Duel, Free Guy) is an elegant, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.

Killing Eve topples the typical spy-action thriller as these two fiercely intelligent women, equally obsessed with each other, go head-to-head in an epic game of cat and mouse.

Killing Eve Season 2 – Binge
In the second season, the action picks up just 30 seconds after the end of the final episode of season one. Villanelle (Jodie Comer, The Last Duel, Free Guy) has disappeared and Eve (Sandra Oh, Grey’s Anatomy, The Chair) is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead.

With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does…but unfortunately, she’s not the only person looking for her.

Steeltown Murders (Acorn TV Exclusive) – PREMIERE Binge Release
It’s 2002 in Port Talbot, and on hearing that the CID are looking to reopen two sexually motivated murder cases from 1973, DCI Paul Bethell jumps at the opportunity to lead the investigation. Following two vividly different timelines, we also revisit the tragic events of ’73 to see both a small Welsh community devastated by grief, and Paul as a junior officer who is adamant not to make the same mistakes that he and the force had made once before.
