Warfare Trailer Revealed by A24

A24 has released the official trailer for Warfare, the new visceral cinematic event directed by Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland (Civil War, 28 Days Later). Mendoza was the military supervisor for Garland’s Civil War.

Warfare embeds audiences with a platoon of American Navy SEALs in the home of an Iraqi family, overwatching the movement of US forces through insurgent territory.

The movie stars D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, and Henrique Zaga, with Joseph Quinn and Charles Melton.

The film was written and directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, whose directing and writing credits also include Ex Machina, Annihilation and Men.

Garland previously wrote 28 Days Later, Sunshine, 28 Weeks Later, Never Let Me Go and Dredd as well.

The producers include Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich and Peter Rice. Coming to theaters in 2025, Warfare began principal photography in London in May 2024. The movie has been rated R for intense war violence and bloody/grisly images, and language throughout.
