Tires Season Two to Debut on Netflix in June

Today, Netflix announced the premiere date for Tires season two with a first-look clip. The second season of Shane Gillis’s comedy series launches globally on Thursday, June 5.

In the series, Will (Steven Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now-employee, Shane (Shane Gillis).

After the unexpected success of their big marketing idea, Will and Shane rush to grow personally and professionally without fully realizing the cost of doing business.

Tires Season 2 comes from creators Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and McKeever. The cast includes Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias. Andrew Schulz guest stars.

Tires Season 2 will welcome Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, Divorce, Twisted Metal) as Phil, Shane’s wealthy but immature father. A grown-up version of Shane, Phil enjoys owning various businesses in Florida, where he resides, throwing back margaritas and flirting with waitresses.

The guest stars of the second season will also include Vince Vaughn, Jon Lovitz, Ron White, Steph Tolev, and Veronika Slowikowska.

The executive producers include Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and McKeever; Brandon James for Rough House; Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick for AGI Entertainment Media & Management; and Becky Astphan.

McKeever directs the series, which Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and McKeever write. Tires is the second production from Gillis and McKeever’s production company, Dad Sick Productions, following Shane’s stand-up special Beautiful Dogs.
