The Rip is officially described as follows: “Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question, including who they can rely on.”

The cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, and Catalina Sandino Moreno, with Scott Adkins and Kyle Chandler.

“In Miami, you have to count the money on-site, so that everybody knows how much is there,” said Matt Damon. “They know that it’s almost certainly cartel money that belongs to very dangerous people who are probably going to come get it.

“They’re on the clock, and they have to start thinking of defending where they are because they can’t just leave.”

Ben Affleck as Det Sergeant JD Byrne and Matt Damon as Lieutenant Dane Dumars

Ben Affleck added, “It begs the question: What do you do when faced with this massive temptation? What does that mean? What’s it like to see that up close? And then also, who do you trust?’
