The Man with the Bag Teaser Trailer and Poster Debut
Amazon MGM Studios has released the new teaser trailer and poster for The Man with the Bag, the upcoming action comedy film directed by Adam Shankman. The film will premiere globally on Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
In the film, when Santa’s (Arnold Schwarzenegger) iconic red bag is stolen by a rogue elf with a grudge (Awkwafina), Christmas is suddenly at risk.
With his biggest night of the year fast-approaching, Santa recruits a thief (Alan Ritchson) from his ‘Naughty List’ who quickly assembles a crew of criminally skilled misfits — with a little help from elves and reindeer — to pull off the most unexpected heist of their lives.
Packed with holiday magic, big laughs, and plenty of heart, The Man with the Bag is a holiday heist adventure about second chances, unlikely friendships, and discovering that sometimes even Santa needs a little help delivering Christmas.
In addition to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson, The Man with the Bag stars Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, and Jane Krakowski, with Ken Jeong and Awkwafina.
Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Disenchanted) directed the film from a script penned by Allan Rice.
The producers include Lawrence Grey, p.g.a., Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Alan Ritchson (Reacher).
With a runtime of 111 minutes, The Man with the Bag was rated PG by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for action and some suggestive references.
