The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth Release Announced

Netflix has announced that David Fincher’s newest film will be titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Featuring Brad Pitt’s return as Cliff Booth, the film was written by Quentin Tarantino.

Brad Pitt returns to his Academy Award-winning role as Cliff Booth, only this time it’s 1977, and it’s a very different Hollywood. Pitt originated the role in Tarantino’s 2019 film, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate.

Directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian.

The movie will debut in IMAX theaters worldwide for a two-week exclusive engagement on November 25, 2026, before streaming on Netflix on December 23, 2026. You can watch the title announcement here.

Produced by Brad Pitt and Ceán Chaffin, the film’s creative team includes Fincher’s longtime collaborators, like Erik Messerschmidt, ASC, as director of photography, and Donald Graham Burt as production designer.

The movie is edited by Kirk Baxter, ACE, with casting by Laray Mayfield. Trish Summerville is the costume designer, Ren Klyce is the sound designer, and Dave Macomber is the stunt coordinator.

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood was released in July 2019 by Sony Pictures and grossed $393.9 million worldwide, with $142.5 million from domestic theaters and $251.4 million from international markets.
