The Crown Season 6 Part 2 Photos Debut

Netflix has shared the first photos from The Crown Season 6 Part 2, the final chapter which will introduce newcomers Ed McVey (Prince William), Meg Bellamy (Kate Middleton) and Luther Ford (Prince Harry) alongside the existing cast.

The Crown Season 6 Part 2 will premiere globally on December 14th. In its first three days on Netflix, The Crown Season 6 Part 1 amassed 11.1 million views and 36.9 million hours watched.

Since premiering on Netflix in 2016, The Crown has been nominated for and won multiple awards, including 69 Emmy nominations across 5 seasons (with 21 wins including Best Drama across 4 seasons), 10 Golden Globe nominations (including 4 wins), 15 BAFTA nominations, and more.

This final season will draw to a conclusion sixty hours of television that have introduced stars such as Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby, Emma Corrin, Josh O’Connor and more.

The Crown Season 6 Part 2

In the last part of the series, Prince William (McVey) tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion.

As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen (Imelda Staunton) reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla (Olivia Williams) and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate (Bellamy).

Created and written by Peter Morgan, Part 1 consists of four episodes and Part 2 spans six episodes.

The executive producers include Peter Morgan, Suzanne Mackie, Andy Harries, Stephen Daldry, Matthew Byam Shaw and Robert Fox.

The full Season 6 cast includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.
