The ‘Burbs Trailer and Key Art Revealed by Peacock
Peacock has revealed the official trailer, key art, and new photos for The ‘Burbs, starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall. All eight episodes of the series will premiere on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Inspired by the 1989 horror-comedy film of the same name and set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home.

Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light and new, deadly threats shattering the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.
The ‘Burbs stars executive producer Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar.

Celeste Hughey is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the Peacock mystery comedy series, which comes from UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The executive producers include writer Rachel Shukert; Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, and Aimee Carlson for Fuzzy Door; Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment; and director Nzingha Stewart. Dana Olsen is the co-executive producer.

From Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment, The ‘Burbs was a horror-comedy directed by Joe Dante and produced by Brian Grazer. The film stars Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Bruce Dern, Corey Feldman, Rick Ducommun, Wendy Schaal, Henry Gibson, and Gale Gordon.
The movie opened in theaters in February 1989 and grossed $49.1 million worldwide, with $36.6 million coming from North American theaters and $12.5 million from international markets.
