STARZ October 2024 Movie and TV Titles Announced

STARZ has announced the movie and TV titles that will be available on the service in October. The STARZ October 2024 schedule includes the series finale of Power Book II: Ghost, the series premiere of Fat Joe Talks, and new episodes of the limited series Three Women.

Sweetpea will also have a special Thursday premiere on October 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT before the new “coming-of-rage” series moves to its regular time slot on Fridays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

On the film front, Cocaine Bear, Champions, Clawfoot, Of an Age, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and several other notable titles join the STARZ app this month.

Plus, look for a special Halloween Horror collection of new and old favorites, including M3GAN (Unrated Version Premiere), Imaginary, Halloween Ends, The Strangers: Chapter 1, Nope, Ghostbusters (2016), Ghostbusters (1984), The Blackening, Saw X, and more.

STARZ HIGHLIGHTS

POWER BOOK II: GHOST SEASON 4 PART 2
The second half of the fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghost concludes on Friday, October 4, at midnight ET on the STARZ app. On linear, it will air on STARZ at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and 9:00 p.m. ET in Canada on linear.

Part one of Power Book II: Ghost uncovered unanswered high-stakes questions. Part two of the final season will showcase the adage “Like father, Like son.”

Tariq finds himself in an eerily similar situation, just like his late father, Ghost, stuck between a rock and a hard place, with the choice to leave the game or take over.

Entrapped by Detective Carter, the Tejada family realizes their safety is not guaranteed. Monet fiercely fights for her family to become whole again, but is it too late? Noma is working her way to the top of the food chain. Meanwhile, her daughter, Anya, gets too close to the game, forcing Noma to think twice about her actions.

Fat Joe Talks is hosted and executive produced by the multi-hyphenate Grammy award-nominated artist and cultural icon Fat Joe. In each weekly 30-minute episode, Fat Joe will bring the audience along for intimate conversations and never-told-before stories with some of America’s favorite celebrities and newsmakers who drive the cultural zeitgeist.

Fat Joe will engage with his guests in ways that allow them to open up like never before. In recent years, Fat Joe has broadened his work to include everything from podcast host to author to healthcare price transparency reform advocate, proving he is more than a musician. He is a culture staple who loves talking to people from all walks of life, and they love talking to him.

Starting October 4, each week, Fat Joe Talks will air new episodes at midnight on the STARZ app and at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and 11:00 p.m. ET in Canada on STARZ with Method Man, award-winning music artist and star of Power Book II: Ghost as its inaugural guest. Fat Joe will be the first to capture Method’s reflections on his NAACP Image Award-winning role as Davis MacLean following the closing chapter of the acclaimed series.

In addition to Method Man, additional interviewees will include Oscar-nominated Actress, Grammy and NAACP Award winner Mary J. Blige, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, actor and award-winning hip hop artist T.I., Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Babyface, as well as appearances by Grammy-nominated hip hop artist Latto, reggae artist Buju Banton and rapper Remy Ma.

SWEETPEA
The six-part series Sweetpea stars Ella Purnell as Rhiannon Lewis, a quiet wallflower who develops a vengeful and intoxicatingly liberating taste for murder. At its core, the series is about a woman finally finding her voice, told through a uniquely dark and comedic lens. The series is adapted from C.J. Skuse’s cult novel of the same name.

Sweetpea premieres Thursday, October 10, at midnight on the STARZ app. On linear, it will debut on STARZ at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and on Friday, October 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT in Canada. The following week, Sweetpea will move to Fridays, dropping at midnight on the STARZ app and airing on linear at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and 10 p.m. ET/PT in Canada for the remainder of the season.

The limited event series Three Women explores a nuanced portrait of female desire through the compellingly raw and honest stories of three women. Three Women is based on the instant #1 New York Times bestselling book of the same name from literary sensation Lisa Taddeo. It will air new episodes all month long on Fridays at midnight on the STARZ app. On linear, new episodes will debut on STARZ at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S.

The titular series finds three women on a crash course to radically overturn their lives. Lina (Gilpin), a homemaker in suburban Indiana, is a decade into a passionless marriage when she embarks on an affair that quickly becomes all-consuming and transforms her life. Sloane (Wise), a glamorous entrepreneur in the Northeast, has a committed open marriage with Richard (Underwood), until two sexy new strangers threaten their aspirational love story.
