Senna Series Reveals Official Trailer
Netflix has released the official trailer for the Senna series, which stars Gabriel Leone and premieres globally on the streaming service on November 29. Over six episodes, the miniseries dramatizes for the first time Ayrton Senna’s journey through triumphs, disappointments, joys, and sorrows, revealing his personality and personal relationships.
The story starts at the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s motor racing career, following him from his karting days through his move to England to compete in Formula Ford, and continues up to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.

“Even before I got into a car, I already knew I was born to race,” said Ayrton Senna, played by Leone in the Senna series. The main trailer released today reveals snippets of historic, thrilling moments in the life of the racing legend.
In addition to Gabriel Leone, the cast features Brazilian actors such as Alice Wegmann (Lilian, Ayrton’s first wife), Camila Márdila (Vivianne Senna, his sister), Christian Malheiros (Maurinho, his friend), Gabriel Louchard (Galvão Bueno), and Hugo Bonemer (Nelson Piquet).

The series also stars Julia Foti (Adriane Galisteu), Marco Ricca (Miltão, Ayrton’s father), Nicolas Cruz (brother), Pâmela Tomé (Xuxa), Rodrigo Veloso (Flávio Lalli, brother-in-law), and Susana Ribeiro (Zaza, his mother).
The international cast includes Arnaud Viard (Jean-Marie Balestre), Joe Hurst (Keith Sutton), Johannes Heinrichs (Niki Lauda), Kaya Scodelario (Laura, a journalist and fictional character), and Keisuke Hoashi (Osamu Goto).

Leon Ockenden (James Hunt), Matt Mella (Alain Prost), Patrick Kennedy (Ron Dennis), Richard Clothier (Peter Warr), Steven Mackintosh (Frank Williams), and Tom Mannion (Sid Watkins) round out the cast.
Vicente Amorim is the showrunner and director. Julia Rezende also directs the Netflix show. Senna is produced by Gullane and created in partnership with Senna Brands and the driver’s family.
