Scary Movie Parody Posters and Fan Event Announced
Paramount Pictures today revealed Scary Movie parody posters and announced an Opening Night Fan Event to celebrate the theatrical release. Scroll down to view all the posters! Can you name all the movies they are parodying?
Fans of the comedy franchise will have the opportunity to experience Scary Movie with special rewards at Opening Night shows on Thursday, June 4, at 7 pm (local time), presented at participating theatres and in immersive formats including Dolby Cinema, 4DX, D-Box, and other premium large screens.
Fans at Opening Night Fan Event screenings will see special bonus content curated for this event. Each ticket holder will also receive a limited-edition collector’s art print, given away at their local theater while supplies last.
Scary Movie early shows (starting at 2:00 pm local time on June 4th) and general showtimes are now on sale. Tickets are also available on exhibitors’ websites and mobile apps, as well as at participating box offices nationwide.

Marlon Wayans (Shorty), Shawn Wayans (Ray), Anna Faris (Cindy), and Regina Hall (Brenda) reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favorites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final.
Nothing is sacred. No trope survives. Every line gets crossed. The Wayans are back to cancel the Cancel Culture. The comedy has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
Directed by Michael Tiddes, the sixth installment stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, and Benny Zielke.
Cameron Scott Roberts, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Dave Sheridan, Heidi Gardner, Lochlyn Munro, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, and Sydney Park round out the cast.
Scary Movie was written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez. The executive producers are Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, and Marsha L. Swinton.
A Wayans Brothers presentation in association with Miramax, the movie was produced by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez. The film is based on characters by Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Buddy Johnson, Phil Beauman, Jason Friedberg, and Aaron Seltzer.
